May 18, 2010 - Board Candidacy Documents
The Board of the River is entrusted with the high calling of stewarding the mission of the River Church Community and governing our church body. Given that several current Board members will have completed their time of service and will be rotating off the Board starting this year as well as over coming years, it is our desire to invite the Leadership Community to submit nominations of spiritually mature men and women who are suited to serve as new Board members this fall.
The Board is requesting your prayerful consideration of individuals you feel would be good candidates for serving on the Board of the River Church Community. A document outlining the nomination process, along with all necessary forms, are available for download below. When you fill out the nomination form, you will be able to use as much space as needed to answer each question.

The deadline for submission of the forms is July 15, 2010. Please complete and return your nominations to Tom Tsao (), who will be collecting the forms for the Board's review. Even if you do not feel that you wish to nominate someone, we appreciate your prayers for the process. We are currently looking to fill two positions on the Board. Specifically, the Board is prayerfully looking for individuals with 1) an accounting/finance background who can provide financial oversight of church finances and/or 2) a post-modern mindset with a passion for reaching the next-generation of seekers. In addition to those specific gifts/attributes, we would also like to consider nominations of individuals who live in the downtown area and participate in the downtown ministry with the River.
