Angela Aviles has been on staff with The River since 2001. She began as the church's webmaster before transitioning to the role of Production Manager in 2003 and then Communications Director is 2011. Angela is responsible for coordinating our Sunday morning Celebration services and overseeing our communications needs.
Prior to her time at The River, Angela worked as a consultant with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and as a software engineer for a dot-com that busted. Having experienced the tremendous impact of the local church in her life while growing up in suburban Chicago, Angela made the transition to ministry. “I love the relationship between God and His bride, the church. I feel honored and blessed to be able to serve both.”
When she's not doing something church-related, Angela enjoys watching movies, skiing, shopping, and eating. She also delights in her husband Steve and her son Jeremy, born in July 2010.
