2/13 - Making Plans for Heart Health
|
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Do you know the signs of heart health? The symptoms of disease? These are critical questions to ask about our bodies as well as our souls. Jesus had the healthiest heart in human history. His heart flowed with tender mercy and compassion when in the presence of a needy soul. His heart rose up with bold courage in the face of injustice and oppression. His heart remained soft to God the Father even in his greatest trial. No matter what challenge he faced, his heart was fully present to the moment… ready to act in a manner that the occasion required. And he told us that our hearts can be just like his. In this series, we’ll explore how that can be so.
