Church History Comes to Small Groups!
For the past year Andy Woodruff has been leading two classes on church history to small groups throughout The River. One class focused on the Crusades - what they were and how they have affected relations between Christians and Muslims a thousand years later. The other class entitled "Is What We Read Now, What They Wrote Then?" is a look at the transmission of the Old and New Testaments through the centuries as well as a brief investigation into the Early Church Mothers' contribution to the early church. The classes have been well received providing interesting knowledge for the members and a break for small group leaders!
