Cultivating the Spirit

Do you know how to catch a wave? Well if we're going to surf the wave of God's Spirit we have to learn how to surf and that means we have to get in the water. This 5 week class will focus on the activity of the Holy Spirit. Whether you don't know anything about the Holy Spirit or you've never experienced the Holy Spirit, this series will energize and strengthen your outlook on God's gift to the church. Most of us are observers and very few people actually participate. Following Jesus gets exciting when we stop following our own plans and get into the game of what God is doing. Some of the topics we will be covering are:
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Spiritual Gifts
Discerning the Leading of the Holy Spirit
Prophecy
Words of Knowledge and Wisdom
