Hospitality Training
Hospitality is not about impressing others with well-decorated homes and gourmet cooking. It's not simply for the gifted or those with clean homes. Hospitality is a way of loving our neighbor in the same way God has loved us. In her book Open Heart, Open Home, Karen Mains writes, "The essence of hospitality is a heart open to God, with room prepared for the Guestness of the Holy Spirit, that welcomes the presence of Christ. This is what we share with those to whom we open our doors. We give them him."
If you are interested in exploring the spiritual gift of Hospitality, then join us for this half-day training where we'll look at Scripture and share practical insights on how you can express your love for God through your welcoming of others. We'll talk about how to incorporate a spirit of hospitality in our lives and as a church community. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
