June 5th Kindness San Jose
Kindness San Jose is a community service opportunity for Silicon Valley residents offered by The River Church Community. Sometimes, in the busyness of our lives, it can be difficult to find a meaningful way to serve others. Because of this, The River wants to provide an easy way for all residents, whether you are an atheist, a Christian or somewhere in between, to meaningfully participate in community service. You just need to sign up, show up and serve.
Come join us on Sunday, June 5th at 10 am. We will meet at The River offices at 701 North First Street, San Jose, CA before heading out to different projects. Choose one of the following ways to serve at Kindness San Jose:
*Help at the River Church Community Garden
*Pick up trash at Washington Elementary School
*Help the women at Heritage Home by gardening and cleaning at the site
*Visit and care for the elderly at San Jose Rehabilitation Center
*Clean-up Backesto Park
*Distribute refreshments to people downtown
*Pray for issues in the San Jose community
