Lenten Retreat

What is Lent? Lent is the forty day liturgical season that begins on Ash Wednesday and concludes with the celebration of Easter. Lent is a season of soul-searching and repentance. It is a season for reflection and taking stock. By observing the forty days of Lent, Christ-followers imitate Jesus’ withdrawal into the wilderness for forty days.
We invite you to join us as we usher in the season of Lent with a Lenten Retreat on Friday and Saturday, February 27-28. This is a comtemplative retreat led by The River Pastoral staff to help prepare us for how God might want to meet us during this season.
When: Friday, February 27 at 5 pm to Saturday, February 28 at 5 pm
Cost: $100/person. This includes 3 meals and one night of lodging. All rooms are double-occupancy. Please bring your payment to the retreat on Friday. Please let us know if you need a scholarship. We do not want the price to be a barrier for you in attending the retreat.
