We are thrilled to have Di Pagel join us to teach, encourage, and help us as parents better learn how to nurture the spiritual life and faith of our children. Di Pagel has served in the Presbyterian Church as a Director of Children and Family Ministry for over 25 years. Di is an accredited, experienced Godly Play trainer, who has travelled both nationally and internationally assisting churches of all demoninations as they develop the program.  It has been her experience with Godly Play and its impact on children in her care that has led to an abiding interest in children’s spirituality. She also believes that she learned most not from her study and reading on this topic, but by parenting her own 4 children, now adults, and through her relationships with children in the church.

This 3-hr event will open with introductions and a full Godly Play session so parents can experience this approach for themselves. This will be followed by a time of reflection and evaluation of that experience. Having experienced Godly Play, we will then examine how this particular approach nurtures the spiritual life of children and discuss general characteristics of children’s spirituality to equip parents to support it’s development in their own children. There will also be time for Q and A.

The benefits of this time will be two-fold:  you will gain a better understanding of how and, more importantly, why we do Godly Play on Sunday mornings; you will benefit from the wisdom and experience of somebody who is passionate about nurturing children in their faith and experience of God, hopefully taking something away that can be incorporated with all the children in your life... and perhaps even for your own spiritual life!

Please come...  it will be well worth your time!  A light meal and childcare will be provided.

If you are able, a contribution of $10 per adult is suggested and appreciated, which will be collected at the event.  Please contact with any questions.
