Parent Morning Retreat
When: Saturday, February 07, 2009, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Where: The River Ministry Center, 701 N. 1st Street, San Jose, CA US 95112
In the keeping with our church’s emphasis on peacemaking and reflection this year, parents are invited to a morning of quiet and prayer. The focus will be on childhood: our own, our status as God’s children, and parenting our own children. Reflective stations will be provided as well as opportunities for individual spiritual direction, individual prayer ministry, and group prayer. Although taking time away can feel costly, tremendous fruit can come out of a focused time of rest, reflection, and investment in your own spiritual growth.
There is no cost for this retreat, and well supervised childcare will be available at another nearby church (Westminster Presbyterian).
