Bone Marrow Drive
When: Sunday, February 22, 2009, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Bone marrow Drive
In November of 2008, Jodie Gee was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia and is now in urgent need of a life saving bone marrow transplant. Jodie’s family - including her cousin, Jocelyn Lai, who is a member of our church - is now running a nation-wide campaign to find a donor match. Join the many people that are seeing the importance of becoming a donor. By joining the registry, you could help save a life.
Getting tested to be part of the donor registry is FREE of charge for minorities. We are looking for Asian donors that are in good general health and between the ages of 18 and 60. We invite you to join us for a donor drive at San Jose State University in the Music room immediately following the service on February 22. If you are unable to participate in the donor drive, please visit www.aadp.org to have them mail you a free kit.
Visit the information table on February 8 and 15 to find out more about becoming a donor.
The Bone Marrow drive will be in the Music Room, on Feb.22, immediately after service under 1 pm. Getting tested is free and simple.
