Fit for the Kingdom: Becoming Holy Warriors
Come join us for some fellowship around food and a teaching on how God the Father enables us to stand and fight the idol gods we face everyday here in the valley. So many men that I speak with continue to struggle with habitual patterns of sin and feel powerless to overcome these besetting sins. The struggle with identity, lust, fantasy, pornography, and keeping our heads above water in the busyness of life continues to weigh many down. How do we apply Christ’s victory in the face of evil? How do we prevail over difficulties? And, how do we deal honestly with areas of weakness in our lives. Our Father has made a way for us to rise up and out of natural cycles of failure and despair. He has given us His Spirit through which His inspired will becomes our own. Our speaker will be Pastor David Alvarez.
The breakfast will be held at The River Church Offices (701 N. First St., San Jose, 95112). All are welcome to attend.
