Lesley Stahl

Lesley was born and raised in California but a sense of adventure took her to the midwest for college (where she met her husband Chris), then the north midwest for grad school, and even to Kenya for a year.  In 2010 they moved to the bay area to be closer to family and started attending The River.  They were joined by son Noah in 2011 and daughter Clara in 2013.

Lesley has been volunteering with children’s ministry in various contexts since she was a kid herself, and has spent her career working in education.  In 2016 she joined our staff where she gets to work with parents, kids, and volunteers to create opportunities for children to encounter the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  She oversees our Sunday morning programs for infant to 5th grade, works on parent equipping and leads celebrations of milestones.  Lesley loves that God speaks to and through kids, and that we should all learn to receive the Kingdom of God like a child!
