The River Church Community

Parents,

This last Sunday Lis, Amanda, and Karissa led the youth to the Bagel Shop.  Before they went, Jeanine shared with them the next fundraiser.  As a youth group, we are going to be selling Sees candy for Easter!  We will make a 50% profit of everything we sell!  If you haven't seen your students with an order form and taking orders you can print one out on the attachment below.  I'll bring some additional order forms on Sunday.  All orders must be in by March 22nd.  There is also a prize for the most boxes sold which is an admission to Sky High Sports.

Afterward the bagel shop the whole group came back to the Student Union to process how they are doing with the spiritual discipline that they selected from Diving Deep.  Jesse mentioned that he is trying to focus on confession and has been trying to do it.  Matthew Maitz also mentioned that he wants to work on that too.  We'll continue to process the spiritual disciplines with the youth.

- Sunday March 1: Beginning of a four week series on "Peacemaking."

- Saturday March 7: Volunteer Meeting at my house.  9:00 - 12:00.  Light breakfast provided.

    - Bagel Shop
    - Parent Meeting, March 15, 12:00 - 1:00.  This is our quarterly meeting to share about the upcoming months, answer questions, and to hear you out.  As always, lunch will be provided.   Please RSVP.

- RESPONSE NEEDED: Planet Wisdom Youth Tour, March 27 - 28.  Check out their link.   The Planet Wisdom Tour is right around the corner!!!  The tour is going to be in Brentwood and will begin Friday night and continue until Saturday night.  This event is going to be a great time for us to worship God together, get to know each other, meet others, and to grow!  There are a couple of financial deadlines that I want to note.  Feb 22nd a deposit of $45 is needed.  I am still working out the details for this event and there will be more information that follows.  Please let me know if you are interested so I can keep you informed.  PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ASAP IF YOU ARE GOING.  I AM BUYING TICKETS THIS THURSDAY!
