Hello friends! Here's your sneak peak at what Sunday morning will be like for us all! This sunday is our quarterly family service so it will only be one hour long.

Sunday synopsis:

I'm excited to have the kids join us in the ballroom as we celebrate Pentecost together. Pentecost is often described as "the church's birthday" and a time to remember when the Holy Spirit came to us (Acts 2). Our Kids' Community Pastor Jill Bekaert will teach a Godly Play lesson, sharing the story of Pentecost. Mark Phifer-Houseman will then offer some words of reflection as we ponder what Pentecost means for us today. For those of us who are not that familiar with Pentecost, I hope and pray that we come away with a sense of wonder and awe at the power of the Holy Spirit among us. 

Response:

The children are invited to do their regular work time at stations in the back of the room. There will be reflection questions for the adults to use during this time so that adults without children can stay in their seats.
