Geoghegan Update - Rod's Resume

Jan 23, 2009

Hi River Family,

Many of you know about the difficult journey we have been through with the birth of our daughter Hannah Jane and her subsequent brain surgeries and other medical complications.  As I took time off from my job to care for my wife and daughter, I was let go by my employer.  I’ve been actively looking for a position since our return from Duke Medical in November.  As the current economic times are tough and job opportunities are thin, I am hoping some of you might know of opportunities or know other people who might know of opportunities for someone with my work experience or of someone willing to offer on the job retraining.

To briefly summarize my experience, I have over 12 years of purchasing and project management experience.  I have managed and purchased in medical manufacturing as well as in the restaurant business.  I am experienced with a wide variety of software including Excel, Word, Quickbooks and various purchasing / manufacturing programs.

I am also willing to change career paths or expand upon the experience I have.  If any of you have a position or might have contacts or suggestions, I would welcome any leads that you can give.  I have included my resume below for more information in an unformatted view.  I can email you a formatted copy directly.  Feel free to contact me via email at 2rod@att.net or on my cell at 408-603-4242.

Thanks again and God Bless,

Rod Geoghegan
