The River Church Community

Hello,

This is a slightly belated note to let you know that I felt that the kids did really well at West Pres this past Sunday, in spite of newness, heat, time of day.  Some kids seemed tired by the end of our time (especially older preschoolers and early elementary kids), but the playground was a hit and great volunteers helped things to move smoothly in the rooms.

A few things to let you know:

1)       The number display for calling you in case your child needs you is in a lower position than it is at San Jose State.  Please look for it to the right of the front stage area, on a ledge.  It is visible from every seat, but it is harder to note because the room is not as dark as it is at SJ State and the display can’t be placed higher up.

2)       The pre-k to 5^th graders will take turns using the playground this summer.  Please have your children dress appropriately.  Also, the church’s children’s ministry director asks that we encourage the children to use the equipment properly – slide DOWN the slide, climb on the climbing wall and not elsewhere.  Thanks for keeping an eye on this.
