Hello River,

I have quite the head cold.  Thank God for Puffs Plus.

Hope you had a good 4th!  This week is Kindness Silicon Valley!  It's not too late to join up with a project.  See the list of projects here and contact for more information.

This Sunday, Mark Phifer-Houseman will be speaking on corporate prayer.  As part of our response time after the message, we will be giving people the opportunity to pray in groups.  It's always a bit of a risk to pray with people you may not know very well - so you can even be praying that people would have courage this Sunday to pray together.  If you have questions, contact .

Reigstration is open for our All-Church Retreat - Riverfest Weekend 2009!

The Honduras and Peru ICE teams are back safely and the Nicaragua team is safely in country.

Examine Workshop next Sunday after Service

Join Krista-Dawn for a short lunch seminar next Sunday July 12 around the practice of the "Examen".  The Examen is a simple reflection exercise that helps us become attuned to God's presence in our every day life.

All Church Retreat – RiverFest Weekend 2009.  August 21-23 at Mission Springs Conference Center

  • Content around Visioneering, but also FUN
  • Sign up at the Connecting Table or online
  • $50 per adult + offering taken at the retreat
  • Children and Youth Program!
  • No Sunday service at SJSU on August 23.  Drive to Mission Springs and join us for Sunday service there.  Sunday only attenders must still RSVP if attending lunch after service.
