The River Church Community

Hello River,

This week the staff took an overnight retreat at Presentation Center to work on our personal vision statements.  We've been reading through Visioneering by Andy Stanley (which is the pre-reading for the All-Church retreat) and Mark Phifer-Houseman led us in this time to look back at our lives for "destiny items" that hint at what God is doing in our lives.

The youth took advantage of the summer sun with a beach day this past Tuesday.

The India ICE team left Monday night and Nicaragua ICE is back safe and sound.  Due to the current political instability in Honduras, the August ICE trip there has been postponed.

The All-Church Retreat is currently AT CAPACITY.  Please contact to add your name to a waitlist.

Firestarters is a gathering for people wanting to grow in their passion and skills for evangelism.  Firestarters met on Sunday night, 7/19 and the next meeting will be August 16.  Conatct for more information.
