This Week at The River Ministry Center 11/18/2008
Nov 18, 2008
Hello Everyone,
In random news - I made the recent happy discovery of Asian frozen-dinners at Ranch 99. Not only do they meet my $3/day budget for lunch, they satisfy my craving for rice, pickled vegetables, pork, etc. I had the "Wei-Chuan Stewed Pork and Mushrrom Rice Bowl". I give it a thumbs up. In other news, my daughter is very cute.
David led the last "Changes that Heal" session last night. Many people commented on the relevance and power of the material on their lives. David is also excited that people can take what they learned from Changes that Heal into our Peacemaking season. David is also starting to take applications for winter session of Healing Path.
I put the finishing touches on our Travel Guide for Ministry Year 2009. It's available online this year. The Travel Guide is designed to help you navigate all of the opportunities available at The River to the end of our growth in Christ. Check it out!
Angela and Donna just completed finishing one of the rooms downstairs in the Ministry Center into a dedicated prayer room. It is very nice. We welcome you to stop by the Ministry Center at any time to pray!
Mark has been hard at work writing the Peacemaking bible studies for small groups. He also will be giving the message this Sunday (and Brad will be writing the next small group Bible study).
