This Week at The River Ministry Center 11/5/2008
Nov 05, 2008
Hello Everyone!
Hope you are navigating our dark evenings. I've always wished we could have Daylight Savings Time all year round. Do you? Take my little Doodle poll and I'll tell you the results next week:
The Leadership Team had a very good retreat early this week. We spent time in the Word and talked long into the night about where The River has been and where it is going. Grab Brad, Mark, David, Michelle, Krista-Dawn, or myself if you'd like to hear more.
Angela is excited to host our first ever Hospitality Training this Saturday with Deb Buonfiglio. Click here for more details about this event.
Tony mobilized the staff to provide lunch for the clients of the Living Center, a community center for those living with HIV/AIDS. We had a really good time with the residents and they are looking forward to our second hosted lunch next week during Kindness San Jose. For a full listing of Kindness San Jose events, click here.
Jill continues to provide positive reports about how the Grade-Schoolers are taking to Godly Play. Grab Jill or KC Yatsko to get a first-hand report of the good things that are happening!
Kyle had a fun pizza game night with the Students this past weekend. Many pizza games were played.
