The Kimsey's had the baby!

Gabriella Luci Emma Supriya Kimsey born on December 7.  All are well.

David & Michelle Kim also had their baby girl on December 7.  And Bill and Molly Meyer welcomed a girl yesterday, December 8.  Names to come soon.

The Advent Retreat was an excellent time of preparation for everyone who attended.  Ask someone who went about their experience!

David is taking applications for January's Healing Path.  They are due this Friday, so hurry if you are interested in applying.

Closing Announcements – December 7, 2008

The Healing Path

• Dates for Winter 2009 The Healing Path are Monday, January 12th – Monday, March 23rd. If you are interested in being a part of our next group, please download and complete The Healing Path Application. Please return your completed application no later than Friday, December 12, 2008.

 
Christmas Bake Sale

• Next Sunday there will be a bake sale out in the main lobby.
• All proceeds go to the Geoghegan family to cover medical expenses.
• Bake sale organized by Polly Claassen and Kristina Kanemoto. More info on a card in your River Invitation.

Christmas Eve Service

• The River’s 3rd annual Christmas Eve Celebration
• Wednesday, December 24th from 2 to 4 pm.
• We will sing carols, enjoy Christmas desserts, and participate in a hands-on activity designed to help us remember the journey to Bethlehem and the miracle of Jesus’ birth in our lives.
• You can sign-up at the Connecting Table. Sign-up is not required, but greatly appreciated as we plan for food.
