Hello River!
Polly Claasen has organized some fun events to squeeze the last drops of enjoyment from the summer (yay Polly!). Here's the lowdown:
1. (pre) Labor Day BBQ and Beach Bonfire: Come join us for a last gasp of summer fun at the beach after our morning of ministry on August 31st. We'll meet at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz at 5:30pm to BBQ some dinner, fling some frisbees, fly some kites, and then sit around a bonfire and sing all the cheesy campfire songs we can remember. We'll leave when it gets cold, or when the younguns peter out. Carpooling available from downtown San Jose. More info: .
2. Fall Motorcycle Ride: September 21st, immediately after church. Let's motor! Ride your motorcycle to church, and join us afterwards for lunch in the mountains at Alice's. We'll take a leisurely, scenic route. Passengers welcome, but RSVP to confirm there's an extra seat and helmet. More info: .
