Dear Loving Angel Helpers,
While Hannah Jane has awakened some now and has had a nose tube in feeding her, she was cleared to try to suck again by breast and bottle with breast milk.  She latched from her first try upon birth and up until surgery but is not sucking or coordinating her reaction to breast or bottle.  She will not be able to go home even when all the other issues are resolved if she isn't feeding, gaining weight, wetting diapers etc. 

A possibility of extended use of ng tube, nose tube for long term feeding may be needed if she won't respond.  Please pray for her to remap her brain to learn and thrive with nursing again.  It is SO hard to see her this way.  She is not focusing her eyes, or reflexes of her body as well.  It is a joy to touch her and caress her.  I am also asking for prayer because since giving birth I have had carpal tunnel and my fingers are numb and painful; this makes it hard for me to grasp and hold with precise control.  This makes it scary for me with so many tubes, IVs, surgical sites and such on Hannah Jane; I want to be careful and as controlled with my touch as I can be.

Still no results from pathology on tumor; will post asap with those results.  Another MRI or CT scan will be next Monday to check on ventricles.  Her soft spot is swollen, may be from surgery site though, await to find out.  Her incision is unbandaged now - it is 2 inches long in an L shape and the other piece of it is a bit over an additonal 2 inches.  I had hoped for minimally invasive, but am glad that Dr. Edwards was able to remove most of the tumor.

Please pray for healing for precious Hannah Jane!

Our precious Hannah Jane is starting to wake up; how sweet it is to see her beginning to come back to us!  On our way up to see her now.  Her pathology of tumor not yet back.  Plse keep praying; will update asap.  Also new issue with billing for surgery; must consult with legal aide; plse pray for resolution been in hours of meetings to try to resolve here, car bettery died etc.so sorry for late post.

 We keep you in our hearts and prayers.  Anticonvulsants almost at theraputic level; she may need these long term.  Still awaiting to find out seizures impact.  We miss you so much!
