Dorothy Chang

Dorothy & her husband Paul have been attending the River since 1998 and have raised their 3 children in this church family. Dorothy and Paul were involved in a small group that lasted almost 15 years, with Paul leading the small group at various times. Dorothy was involved with the Kids Community as a storyteller when their children were younger and cooked numerous meals for the Youth during their time at Youth Group (the kids used to eat dinner together on Friday nights).  Currently she helps with the offering count team.

 

In her "previous" life Dorothy worked as a Librarian in the public libraries (San Mateo County and Oakland) and then as the school librarian at her childrens' elementary school in Cupertino (McAuliffe). She is now happily retired and loves to make quilts (you may find her at the back of the sanctuary on Sunday mornings happily sewing away) and hike in the local nature preserves.
