My wife, Judy, and I started coming to the River over 25 years ago in 1998 in the very first year of the church’s founding. Prior to that, Judy and I participated actively in the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Stanford University together. Over the past 25+ years, we have raised our 2 daughters, Katy (now in college) and Abby (now in high school), within the loving community here at the River. In the early 2000s, I served on the River Board for a 10-year term as Board Chairperson. After my 10 year term, I rotated off the Board and have been serving as a small group leader and/or small group leader coach over the past decade or so.
Outside of the River, I have worked as a product management executive at various Silicon Valley tech companies including Netscape, eBay, Yahoo, Walmart, Atlassian, and now DocuSign.
After over a decade hiatus from Board service, it’s an honor to be invited back to serve on the Board during this season of our beloved church’s journey. I can’t believe it’s been 25+ years already, but the River has been my church home and community during the vast majority of my adult life. I am deeply grateful for all the ways God has blessed me through the River, and I offer my service to our church with gratitude and joy.
